Agar aapka MacBook ki Wi-Fi ya Bluetooth weak ho gayi hai, ya antenna cable damage hai, toh usse replace karna hoga. Ye guide batayega kaise aap AirPort / Bluetooth cable safely nikaal ke naya lagate ho.

🧰 Tools You’ll Need

  • Phillips #00 screwdriver

  • Spudger (plastic pry tool)

  • Tweezers (optional, for fine cables)

⚠️ Safety Tips

  • MacBook ko pehle shutdown karo aur charger unplug karo.

  • Kaam karne ki surface static-free honi chahiye.

  • Sabse pehle battery connector ko disconnect karna zaroori hai, taki internal circuits safe rahein.

🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Remove Lower Case Screws

  • Neeche ke 10 screws hatao:
    • 3 screws — 14.4 mm Phillips #00
    • 3 screws — 3.5 mm Phillips #00
    • 4 screws — 3.5 mm shouldered Phillips #00

  • Note: Chhote screws curved edges ke align hote hain, straight down nahi jaate.

Step 2: Remove Lower Case

  • Vent ke paas lower case ko fingers se pry karo.

  • Gently lift and remove the lower case from MacBook.

Step 3: Disconnect Battery Connector

  • Spudger ka edge use karke battery connector ko logic board se upward pry karo.

  • Thoda thoda karke dono sides se “walk” karo, corners delicate hote hain.

Step 4: Bend Battery Cable Away

  • Battery cable thoda sa side me bend karo taaki woh kaam ke dauran accidental contact na kare with socket.

Step 5: Disconnect AirPort / Bluetooth Ribbon Cable

  • Spudger ka flat end use karke AirPort / Bluetooth ribbon connector ko logic board se gently lift karo.

  • Corners ko break na karo — careful handling.

Step 6: Disconnect Camera Cable

  • Camera cable ko parallel direction me pull karo (sideways) to detach.

  • Upar ki taraf mat kheencho — damage ho sakta hai.

Step 7: Peel Camera Cable from Bracket

  • Jab AirPort board nikaloge, camera cable pe tape chipki hogi — usse gently peel karo.

  • Camera cable ko bracket ke niche se route karna hoga—careful karo.

Step 8: Disconnect Nearest Antenna Connector

  • Spudger tip se first antenna cable connector ko logic board se gently lift karo.

  • Also route that cable out from bracket slot.

Step 9: Disconnect Remaining Antenna Connectors

  • Baaki antenna wires ko bhi gently lift karke disconnect karo.

  • Uske baad cables ko unke slots se route karo out of bracket.

Step 10: Remove Board Mounting Screws

  • 5 screws ko remove karo:
    • 2 screws — 10.3 mm Phillips
    • 2 screws — 3.1 mm Phillips
    • 1 screw — 5 mm Phillips

Step 11: Remove AirPort / Bluetooth + Subwoofer Assembly

  • Assembly (AirPort/Bluetooth board + subwoofer) ko MacBook se lift karo — side near optical drive se.

  • Be careful of antenna contacts near corners.

Step 12: Detach AirPort / Bluetooth Board from Bracket

  • Peel off EMI tape covering cable connector.

  • Remove 3 screws (3 mm Phillips) securing board to bracket.

  • Carefully lift board away from bracket (watch for small thermal pad).

🔁 Reassembly

Reverse steps to put new cable:

  1. Mount new AirPort / Bluetooth board to bracket

  2. Connect all antenna cables, camera cable

  3. Place assembly back

  4. Reconnect battery

  5. Fit lower case and tighten screws in correct order
