  • Phillips #00 screwdriver

  • T6 Torx screwdriver

  • Kaam karte waqt battery connector disconnect karna bahut zaroori hai — warna damage ya short ho sakta hai.

  • Delicate connectors aur sockets hain, gentle handling karo.

📝 Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Remove Lower Case Screws

  • MacBook ko ulta rakho.

  • Neeche ke 10 screws remove karo:
    • 3 long screws (14.4 mm) using Phillips #00
    • 3 screws (3.5 mm)
    • 4 shouldered screws (3.5 mm)

  • Jab phir se lower case lagao, yaad raho ki chhote screws curved part mein perpendicular mount hote hain, seedhe down nahi jaate.

Step 2: Lift Off Lower Case

  • Fingers se vent ke paas lower case ko pry karo.

  • Gently lift and slide it off the body.

Step 3: Disconnect Battery

  • Spudger ka edge use karo battery connector ko logic board se gently pry karo.

  • Thoda thoda “walk” motion se dono ends se lift karo taki connector safe tareeke se nikal jaye.

  • Corners ko na damage karo.

Step 4: Bend Battery Cable

  • Battery cable ko thoda side mein bend karo taki woh socket ya other components ko touch na kare during the repair.

Step 5: Disconnect Fan Connector

  • Edge of spudger se fan connector ko socket se gently pry and lift out.

  • Agar zaroor ho, spudger ko cable wires ke neeche twist karke connector release karo.

  • Fan socket ya connector plastic parts delicate hote hain — break na ho jaye, careful karo.

Step 6: Remove Fan Screws

  • Fan ko logic board se secure karne wale 3 screws remove karo:
    • One screw of ~7.2 mm (T6 Torx)
    • Two screws of ~5.3 mm (T6 Torx)

Step 7: Lift Out Fan

  • Screws nikalne ke baad fan ko uski recess se gently lift karo.

  • Cable thodi stuck ho sakti hai — dhyan se nikalna.

🔁 Reassembly

Sab steps ko reverse order se karo:

  1. Fan ko fit karo & screws lagao

  2. Fan connector wapas attach karo

  3. Battery cable aur connector wapas place karo

  4. Lower case lagao & screws wapas tight karo
