Battery agar weak ho gaya hai, jaldi discharge ho raha hai, ya swell (phool gaya ho) hai — toh replace karna best solution hai. Yeh guide aapko batayegi kaise safe tarike se battery change karte hain.

  • Phillips #00 screwdriver

  • Tri-point Y0 screwdriver

  • Spudger (plastic pry tool)

⚠️ Safety First

  • MacBook ko shutdown karo aur charger unplug karo.

  • Surfaces clean & static-free hone chahiye.

  • Steps ko dhyan se follow karo, connectors delicate hote hain.

📋 Steps

Step 1: Lower Case Screws Remove Karo

  • Neeche ke 10 screws remove karo:
    • 3 screws of 14.4 mm (Phillips #00)
    • 3 screws of 3.5 mm (Phillips #00)
    • 4 screws of 3.5 mm with shoulders (Phillips #00)

  • Important: Small screws aligned to curve of case — straight down na jayein.

Step 2: Remove Lower Case

  • Fingers se vent area se lower case pry karo.

  • Gently lift and slide it off.

Step 3: Disconnect Battery Connector

  • Spudger ka edge use karo battery connector ko logic board se upar pry karne ke liye.

  • “Walk” motion se dono short ends se thoda thoda karte hue connectors ko lift karo.

  • Corner parts fragile hain — careful!

Step 4: Bend Battery Cable

  • Thoda battery cable ko side mein shift karo taki kaam ke dauran woh socket se contact na kare.

Step 5: Remove Battery Screws

  • Remove these two screws:
    • One 5.6 mm Tri-point screw
    • One 13 mm Tri-point screw

Step 6: Peel Warning Label

  • Battery aur optical drive ke beech me jo warning label hai, use gently peel karo from upper case.

  • Important: Label ko battery se completely nahi nikaalo — sirf upper case se.

Step 7: Remove Battery

  • Use the plastic pull tab attached to battery to lift it out from upper case.

  • Jab new battery install karo, calibration karna mat bhoolna:
    • Charge battery to 100%, fir 2 hours aur charge rakho
    • Uske baad unplug karo aur use discharge hone do jab low battery warning aaye
    • 5 hours ruk na karo, phir uninterrupted charge back to 100%

  • Agar new battery install ke baad koi problem ho, SMC reset karna zaroori ho sakta hai.

✅ Reassembly

Reassemble karte waqt bas steps ko ulta karo:

  • Battery fit karo & screws lagao

  • Cable connector dobara connect karo

  • Lower case lagao & screws tight karo
