Introduction

Is guide ke through aap apne MacBook ka lower case (bottom cover) remove ya replace kar sakte ho.
Agar bottom panel scratch, dented, ya feet loose hain, toh replacement karna easy fix hai.

What You’ll Need

  • Phillips #00 screwdriver

  • Replacement lower case (agar damaged ho)

  • Clean, anti-static surface

Step 1 — Remove Lower Case Screws

  1. Apna MacBook ulta rakho, taaki bottom side upar ho.

  2. Niche ke 10 screws remove karo:

    • 3 screws — 14.4 mm Phillips #00

    • 3 screws — 3.5 mm Phillips #00

    • 4 screws — 3.5 mm shouldered Phillips #00

  3. Jab screws wapas lagao, make sure wo case ke curve ke perpendicular ho — seedha down mat karo, thoda curve ke angle pe hi rakho.

Step 2 — Remove the Lower Case

  1. Vent (fan outlet) ke paas apni ungli ya spudger se lower case ko gently pry karo.

  2. Jaise hi mounting clips release ho jaayein, cover ko lift karke hata lo.

  3. Dhyaan rahe — zyada force mat lagao, clips toot sakte hain.

Step 3 — Inspect and Clean

  • Jab lower case nikal jaye, andar ke fans aur components pe se halka dust clean kar lo (soft brush ya blower se).

  • Check karo ke feet (rubber pads) sahi lage hue hain — agar koi missing hai toh replace kar do.

Step 4 — Reinstall / Close Up

  1. Lower case ko wapas top case ke upar align karo.

  2. Screws ko unke exact original positions me hi lagao (lengths mix mat karo).

  3. Screws ko evenly tighten karo, lekin overtight mat karo — aluminium threads strip ho sakte hain.

  4. Ensure ke case properly close hua hai, koi gap ya bulge nahi hai.

Tips & Precautions

  • Screw sizes aur unki placement yaad rakho — galat size lagane se screw hole damage ho sakta hai.

  • Always work on anti-static surface, taaki internal parts safe rahein.

  • Lower case remove karte waqt connectors ko accidentally touch mat karo.

  • Zyada force se pry mat karna — clips fragile hote hain.

  • Jab reassemble karo, sab kuch properly aligned hona chahiye before tightening screws.
