  • Phillips #00 screwdriver

  • Spudger

  • New Hard Drive SATA Cable (specific to 13-inch Mid 2009 model)

  • MacBook ko shutdown karo.

  • Power cable disconnect karo.

  • Anti-static surface pe kaam karo.

  • Battery disconnect karna must hai to avoid any damage.

📋 Step-by-Step Instructions:

🔹 Step 1: Bottom Case Remove Karo

  • MacBook ko ulta rakho.

  • Neeche ke 10 screws ko Phillips screwdriver se remove karo.
    (3 screws lambe hote hain – unhe alag se rakh lo.)

  • Bottom case gently upar uthao aur side mein rakh do.

🔹 Step 2: Battery Disconnect Karo

  • Battery connector ko spudger se gently disconnect karo from the logic board.

  • Ye step safety ke liye bahut important hai.

🔹 Step 3: Hard Drive Bracket Remove Karo

  • Hard drive ko secure karne wale 2 screws aur black plastic bracket ko remove karo.

  • Hard drive ko thoda lift karo aur SATA cable se disconnect karo.

  • Drive ko nikaal do.

🔹 Step 4: Old Cable Remove Karo

  • Cable ko logic board se disconnect karo (ye flex cable hoti hai).

  • Cable ke path mein kuch screws ya adhesive tabs ho sakte hain – unhe carefully nikaalo.

  • Old SATA cable ko complete remove kar lo.

🔹 Step 5: New Cable Install Karo

  • Nayi SATA cable ko same path mein route karo jahan pe purani thi.

  • Logic board se connect karo, aur hard drive ke side pe bhi.

  • Ensure karo ki cable bilkul flat aur secure position mein ho.

🔹 Step 6: Hard Drive Reinstall Karo

  • Hard drive ko fir se connect karo with the new cable.

  • Drive ko bay mein place karo aur bracket ke screws se secure karo.

🔹 Step 7: Battery Reconnect & Case Close Karo

  • Battery connector ko logic board se reconnect karo.

  • Bottom case ko lagao aur 10 screws ko tight karo.

✅ Final Check:

  • MacBook on karo.

  • Check karo kya hard drive detect ho rahi hai.

  • Agar aapne nayi drive lagayi hai, toh Disk Utility mein jaake format karo.

  • macOS install karo ya backup restore karo.
